NERD-1-1 Supports 2010 NHFF
9.03.10 - NERD-1-1 IT Consultants are proud sponsors and supporters of the 2010 New Hampshire Film Festival, providing key network support and infrastructure for the four day event. The NHFF will unfold October 14-17 at a variety of venues in historic downtown Portsmouth, NH and will include screenings of films homegrown in New Hampshire as well as a variety of short, documentary, and independent films from cutting edge filmmakers around the world. NERD-1-1 Launches Website: Nerd11.net
10.15.09 - NERD-1-1 IT Consultants are proud to announce the launch of Nerd11.net. The new website not only extends the NERD-1-1 brand further into the digital universe, but will also provide valuable resources and support tools to our clients.
As self-professed and proud "computer nerds," the NERD-1-1 family are followers of the open source internet movement and therefore have constructed Nerd11.net on the Joomla 1.5 CMS framework. Joomla is an open source content management system designed to make website content creation, editing, and management as easy and efficient as possible through a web browser interface.
Leveraging the Joomla framework, Nerd11.net provides system and network tips, NERD-1-1 news, IT Industry news, and Virus protection updates, all accessible from the front page of the website. In addition, clients can click on the "Support" tab to access LMI Rescue to receive remote support from a NERD-1-1 Technician.
Future plans for Nerd11.net include an Instant Chat Console, Client Log In, Whitepages and FAQs for self-troubleshooting, and Online Account Management.
